# Best gaming chairs under £400 Source: https://chairandposture.co.uk/best/best-gaming-chair-under-400 Publisher: Chair and Posture. Picks are based on what the Amazon listings state, not on hands-on testing. Method: https://chairandposture.co.uk/how-we-pick Below the top tier, gaming chairs vary far more than their racing-seat styling suggests. The useful dividing lines are a steel frame rather than a wooden or plastic one, a class 4 gas lift, armrests that move in more than one direction, and a load rating that gives you some headroom. Those features are what keep a chair stable and adjustable after the first year. This guide compares six gaming chairs from Corsair, Genesis, Trust, Anda Seat and Homracer, all within the under £400 bracket, on the armrests, gas lift, recline range, cover material and maximum load. Facts come from the listings only. Where a listing leaves out the gas lift class, recline or load, we say so, because those are the details that separate a sturdy chair from one that only looks the part. ## Products ### 1.
