Our take

Lighting and storage

The RGB background lighting is controlled by a remote, with adjustable speed and brightness. Power for the lights has to come from somewhere, and Genesis provides a pocket on the back of the backrest to hold the cable, a power bank and the remote. That keeps things tidy, but it does mean one more thing to charge or plug in.

Comfort and construction

Memory foam headrest and lumbar cushions mould to your shape. Genesis widens both the backrest and seat to take pressure off shoulders and hips, and says the foam resists deforming over time, supported underneath by strong straps.

The cover is breathable fabric on a solid metal frame. Genesis contrasts it with cheap faux leather that can tear, and fabric generally runs cooler in warm rooms.

Adjustments and wheels

You get seat height and backrest tilt, with the back going to 135 degrees. The 2D armrests adjust in height and width, which is less than the 3D or 4D arms on some rivals. Large 60 mm CareGlide wheels are designed to roll smoothly and protect floors from scratches.

The listing does not state a maximum load or the class of the gas lift, and its own specification table is patchy, so ask the seller if either matters.

Choosing between fabric chairs

The Corsair T3 Rush has no lighting but offers 4D arms, a steel frame and a stated 150 kg rating. The Razer Iskur V2 X has a built-in lumbar arch and a deeper 152 degree recline. The Trit 660 RGB stands out only if the lighting appeals, though it still covers the comfort basics.

Verdict

Buy the Genesis Trit 660 RGB if RGB lighting and a fabric cover top your list and your weight is moderate. For stronger build and better arm adjustment, the Corsair T3 Rush is the more practical chair, and for built-in lumbar plus a deeper recline, the Razer Iskur V2 X is worth the comparison.
