Big & tall
Taller and heavier users need a seat height range, seat size and load rating chosen for them. Check every figure in cm and kg rather than relying on a big and tall label.
- Heavy-duty load
- 150 to 200 kg
- Gas lift
- Class 4

Look for a load rating with a margin above your weight, a class 4 gas lift, a steel or aluminium base and a wider, deeper seat. Taller users should check that the top seat height and the backrest height suit their leg and back length.
For desks, a three-stage frame reaches higher standing heights, and a dual-motor frame keeps the lift even under load. US listings often state loads in lb and sizes in inches; the US spec converter turns them into kg and cm.
Common mistakes
- Treating the load rating as a comfort guide rather than a limit.
- Missing that the top seat height is too low for long legs.
