This black Hbada E3 Air bundles a footrest with the chair, turning a capable mesh task chair into one you can lean back in and put your feet up between calls. The synchronous recline sets its own resistance from your weight and has three named positions up to 140 degrees, so moving from focused typing to a proper rest takes no fiddling with knobs.

In its favour
- Three lumbar zones on springs respond to your movement, aimed at the lower spine when leaning forward or back.
- The synchronous mechanism sets resistance from your weight and reclines to 140°.
- Hbada lists German IGR ergonomics certification, an SGS class 4 gas lift and a 3-year warranty.
Good to know
- The footrest adds bulk under the seat, which some desk setups do not need.
- The listing does not give the seat depth travel in centimetres.
Our take
Lumbar that floats
Hbada calls the lower-back system a 3-zone floating wing. Each zone sits on springs with 12 degrees of auto-adaptive movement, targeting the L1 to L5 area of the spine. The aim is to fill the gap behind the lower back whether you lean forward to type or sit back to read, without any manual adjustment.
Because the springs do the work, there is no lumbar knob or lever to find, which suits people who share a chair or simply never get round to adjusting one properly.
Recline positions and arms
The synchronous mechanism moves seat and back together. Hbada describes 105 degrees for intense focus, 115 for routine work and 140 for deep relaxation. The weight-sensing chassis balances resistance up to 330 lb, matching the 150 kg rating in the specification table.
4D armrests travel with the backrest as you recline, so elbows stay supported when you lean back with a phone. The headrest is 4D with dual-axis movement for fine neck alignment.
Mesh, certification and footrest
The CloudMesh seat and back spread pressure to reduce lower-body fatigue and let heat escape. Hbada lists German IGR ergonomics certification, CPF eco standards, an SGS class 4 gas lift and testing to BIFMA and TUV benchmarks, plus a 3-year warranty. The chair weighs about 22 kg.
The footrest is included in this set, though its length and extension are not stated, and it adds bulk under the seat.
Other chairs with footrests
The Flexispot ErgoX also comes with a footrest in some versions and adds a 6 cm seat slide with a 135 degree recline. The Elabest X100 lists a 46 cm footrest, 3D lumbar and 5D arms. The Hbada wins on its automatic, three-stage recline and floating lumbar.
Verdict
The E3 Air with footrest suits people who alternate between work and short rests and want the chair to handle recline tension itself. If you need a stated seat depth range, the Flexispot ErgoX gives one, and the Elabest X100 is worth comparing if a long, defined footrest matters most.
