Our take
Folding and portability
The desk weighs 11 kg and has a built-in carry handle. Folded, it is stable and designed not to topple when stored on end. It arrives fully assembled in plastic-free packaging, so there is nothing to build. Adjustable non-scratch feet protect wooden floors and keep it steady on uneven surfaces, which helps in older houses.
The white finish keeps it unobtrusive when it is set up in a living space, and it can be carried from room to room by one person.
Height and work surface
Pneumatic assistance moves the top between 74 and 109 cm. The low end suits seated work with a standard chair, but 109 cm at the top is low for standing; many adults over about 170 cm will find it short of elbow height. The top is 1.8 cm thick, rated for 20 kg, and is designed for a laptop, keyboard and mouse.
It can also tilt, with a removable laptop stopper to stop the computer sliding off.
